Hypoteneuse Route is a 24-hour comic, completed May 20th, 2001. I did it in conjunction with a bunch of friends from St. John's College, under the banner of 'Comic Exhaustion'. I was the only one to complete 24 pages, although I believe Mirabai came pretty close. (Mirabai, if you read this, and get me your pages, I'll put them up here.) I tried to recapture the magic of the 24-hour comic again during Comic Exhaustion 2, but only got halfway through a really mild HP fanfic.
One strange thing about this comic is a totally unintentional reference to a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. I was thinking of the scary-but-unsuccessful bombing in the mid-nineties, but later that year I would be horribly reminded of this strip. Sometimes I hate channelling the zeitgeist.
